About Us and Contact Info

at The Indigo Earth Soap Company

About Us is really about the indigo earth soap company and Courtney Findlay who, has been making soap and other bath products for years and knows how important it is to have natural skin care for herself and her family. This is why she is sharing the results of years of soapmaking experience and know-how. By unofficial designation, she is a Master Soapmaker, which is a Soapmaker who has made over 10,000 bars of soap. Courtney has make approximately 145,000 bars of soap as well as other natural bath products, such as Lotions, Perfume Oils, Solid Perfumes, Mineral Baths, Therapeutic Creams, Bath and Massage Oils, Lip Balms and Essential Oils.

From her little soap shop on main street, she created, wholesaled and retailed soap and other bath products. From providing soap to health food chains to shipping internationally from the website. Customers were always happily surprised to hear that she made the natural soap right on the store's premises, where you could smell the natural variety that was being made that day.

Over the years, the little soap shop, and Courtney, were nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year, Business of the Year, and Customer Service of the Year. Courtney was often invited to speak at local functions and received front-page newspaper coverage on numerous occasions.

Courtney now teaches soap making, lotion making and perfume making classes and still sells soaps at special events like festivals, and to retail businesses, as well as helping people bring nature into their lives through the Natural Soap Making website.

Courtney is an expert in the health field, she is an Aromatherapist, certified Herbalist, and accredited Nutritionist, who has written three health books.

Courtney is an Expert Contributor to SelfGrowth.com, where she is a contributing writer to their '101 Great Ways to Improve Your Health' Book.

One of the catalysts for Courtney to start seeking alternative methods was a cold medicine. Taking the recommended dosage for a simple cold, caused Courtney to become unconscious. Years later when Courtney's skin was breaking out, she was prescribed Prednisone, a steroid, that caused scary side effects. These major events and hundreds of little ones, all contributed to the making of natural soap for herself and her family.
