We got a lot of positive feedback on the creativity of our ads, as well as astonishment at the number of chemicals in everyday products. And we didn't say one negative word about the store brand product, we simply listed our ingredients on one side, then listed the other products ingredients on the other side, like a two column list. We always had significant space under our list.
The ingredients from skin creams, soaps, lotions, shampoo, and every other bath product, reads like a chem lab experiment. And perhaps it is. Besides the obvious natural list vs. the totally not-natural list, I always like to scrutinize their marketing.

Vanilla Fields Cologne:Alcohol, FDC Yellow #5, FDC Green #3, Fragrance, Water, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Bensopheneone-3, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, BHT, Propylene Glycol.
I don't see any vanilla in this Vanilla Fields Cologne.
Indigo Earth's Vanilla Perfume Oil:
Jojoba Oil, Vanilla Essential Oil (will separate, shake to mix).
Yves Saint Laurent Opium Natural Spray:Alcohol, Fragrance, Water, Benophenone-2, Octyl Methoxycinnimate, BHT, Propylene Glycol, Methylparaben, FD&C Yellow No. 5.
The Indigo Earth uses:
Well, I have had Codeine for really bad pain, but not Opium. I don't know why this is called Opium unless the scent is reminiscent of poppies. But I do know that Opium is a restricted item and it would not be allowed without a prescription. And what is with the word 'natural' in there? Again, 'natural' is describing the word 'spray', so as long as there is a pump or spritzer, and not a chemical propellant, then 'natural' would be accurately describing the spray, but obviously not the scent.

See some of the wording used to allow you to think that the product is something other than it is!
