I'd like to
know a little more about the serum and Dr. Hauschka's day cream, but in the meanwhile, here is more about this soap from the skindeep.com website:
Ingredients from packaging: TEA-Stearate, Triethanolamine, Sodium Tallowate, Glycerin, Purified Water, Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Ricinoleate, TEA-Oleate, Cocamide DEA, Fragrance, Tocopherol.
Directions from packaging: Wet your face and hands with lukewarm water. Lather soap in hands. Massage lather onto skin with a gentle, circular motion. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry with a soft towel.
Most of these ingredients get the green or orange light from skindeep.com, but there are the three ingredients that rate with warnings or concerns:
FRAGRANCE: 8100% neurotoxicity, Allergies/immunotoxicity, miscellaneous;
COCAMIDE DEA: 661% cancer, allergies/immunotoxicity, organ system toxicity (non-reproductive), irritation (skin, eyes, or lungs), contamination concerns (NITROSAMINES-in the presence of nitrosating agents);
TRIETHANOLAMINE: 657% allergies/immunotoxicity, organ system toxicity (non-reproductive), irritation (skin, eyes, or lungs), contamination concerns (NITROSAMINES-in the presence of nitrosating agents), occupational hazards.
Is Neutrogena soap a mild soap? Personally, I also used this soap as a teenager, and I would still use this soap over any body wash or toxic cleanser, but it is NOT natural. Often people assume clear products to be natural, like that Clearly Natural Soap, which is not.
From 'is Neutrogena soap a mild soap' to Clearly Natural soap, which isn't...
Check out this 100% natural and inexpensive toner here, you'll be surprised...
